Low Blood Pressure – Causes and Solution

Almost everyone talks about high blood pressure & know about their symptoms & effects. But many people are not aware of low blood pressure and its symptoms. Actually, it affects a large number of people worldwide. Most often a person does not realize that he is suffering from it and often relates it to feeling ill and dizzy. Perhaps it is a sign of a serious issue with endocrine, heart or neurological disorders. People should not take low blood pressure lightly because they block oxygen & vital nutrients to flow towards the brain. It is also called as hypertension.

Low blood pressure symptoms included- fainting, dizziness, and light headedness. People come to know about the symptoms when they change their position and and feel uncomfortable. That is from sitting or lying to standing position.

The following are the causes and solution of low blood pressure:

1. Heart Problem:

Some heart issue may cause your blood circulation improperly. Due to lack of some vital vitamin like B12 & iron leads to anaemia, the outcome is low blood pressure.

2. Dehydration:

Drinking sufficient water is very important for the body. If you are one of those who easily get dehydrated, you should do something about that. If you are working outside make sure you drink more fluids like water, juice, or nimbu paani from time to time.

3. Insufficient salt intake:

Generally, people consume less salt in their diet. During low blood pressure, people should drink a mixture of water & pinch of salt for an instant result. It is helpful for the people who are suffering from the low blood pressure. Confirm with the doctor regarding salt intake that you should take.

4. Drinking insufficient water:

Water is essential for body functioning. It helps to prevent the body from dehydration. You should drink more water if you are feeling dizzy or feeling uncomfortable at any point in time. An adult should drink at least eight glasses (nearly 2 litres) of water per day.

Home Remedies for preventing low blood pressure:

For preventing low blood pressure you can use some home remedies.  Like drinking a cup of beetroot juice daily or drink strong black coffee every alternate day or taking few almonds with lukewarm milk or drinking warm water daily on empty stomach.

Regular Exercise:

Exercise is very helpful for both low and high blood pressure. Every person should exercise for at least 30 minutes daily. A brisk morning walk or swimming helps in blood circulation, which reduces heart disease, releases tension and is helpful for stress-free life.
