Warm water bath
One may feel hot water bath very relaxing and soothing but it robs the skin of its moisture. Hot water tears down epidermis, the outer layer of skin, and makes it dry and scaly. So, it is better to use warm water instead of hot water for a bath.
Avoid sun exposure. Ultraviolet rays of the sun have a very bad effect on the skin. UV rays have a potential to break down collagen and elastin of the skin. This results in increased dullness and dryness of the skin. Sun rays affect melanocytes in the skin. It disturbs the pigmentation cycle of the skin. Skin gets dark. Long exposure to sunlight gives various skin problems like red patches, dryness, and rashes. In some cases skin cancer too. Before stepping out it is better that you apply sunscreen lotion. Harsh UV rays result in uneven skin tone and dullness.

Bath before bedtime

Since they form on the outer layer of skin they do not permit fresh cells to thrive. One should remove dead cells at least once a week.
